    Hi Guys,

I have a client at the moment who requires a wordpress blog with an integrated forum.

I've had a look around the web and found information on bbpress which can use a plugin called bbsync so that article comments and and forum posts can be integrated (I think!) which is ideally what I want.

I'm wondering if anyone has set up anything similar or if there's a better way of doing it? Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Not tried it myself, although have been meaning to give it a go at some point - might find more info on this wordpress forum comparison page 5 Top WordPress Forum Plugins

I'd recommend them to use an open source forum and use a sub domain. Vbulletin or phpbb are decent and easy to use and install.

Great, thanks for the tip Viperdesign. It's a good comparison of the wordpress plugins.

Glen - I had considered Vbulletin or phpbb however if possible I wanted to try a more integrated solution first. The good thing about what you have suggested is that they are heavily supported so i'm sure there will be instances of what i'm trying to do.
