What got you interested in web design?

Started off about 5 years ago now when I first learnt of photoshop and started out with it in my graphics class at school. Bought myself an old copy of photoshop elements v.4 and played around with that, mainly doing signatures and the like for forums.

Towards the end of college a mate of mine asked me to do him a favour for a business he was starting, design the logo. I did so and he quite liked it so invited me to be a part of the business, and that's where the story currently lies..

Looking to learn PHP and develop my design skills much further, the future's bright..
 
I was bored and rather than play games, I wanted to do something productive with the computer.
