Web Designer: permanent position available in London

  1. Survival International is a non-profit organization based in London which helps tribal peoples defend their lives, protect their lands and determine their own futures.

    Survival is looking for a talented web designer to join its in-house film and new media team. You’ll help to design and produce web projects across Survival’s websites, web applications and social media presences.

    You will have a well-developed creative eye, and be comfortable hand-coding HTML and CSS. You should be familiar with content management systems, and have a desire to work with Ruby on Rails, which Survival uses across its web platform. An interest in human rights is important, and of course you’ll need to be passionate about all things web.

    As part of one of the most dynamic and exciting campaigning organizations around, you’ll have the satisfaction of being at the front line of Survival’s work defending the human rights of tribal peoples around the world.

    Salary: £17,500 pa
    Location: Survival’s London office, near Barbican

    Time: Full-time, 10am – 6pm
