Just found these courses, which may or may not be of interest to someone who is looking for a flexible course in the arts/graphics/visual communication...I believe it is accredited by the University of the Creative Arts. It's also a lot cheaper than IDI, another distance learning provider of design courses. They seem to have a good reputation (like the creative version of OU) but I don't really know much else about them. I'm interested in one of the courses myself, for updating skills, experimenting and for leisure, but am awaiting a reply to my email...
