Does anyone know how to set up artwork in Photoshop to achieve this effect....
See attached pic for an example
Basically it is a two colour print job (black and pantone orange) and will need a section of the photograph pulled out in the spot orange.
I have used the duotone tool before so had a go with this but can't get it to work. I need the base layer to be monotone black and then a new layer in spot orange. Duotone seems to apply the colour settings to the whole psd rather than the layers so changes both. Converting to CMYK to keep both layers diff colours then gets rid of the spot values.
Any help really appreciated
