Those geeky indulgences you fell slightly ashamed of

I thought i'd start up this little thread for nerdy/geeky indulgencies I'm sure we all treat ourself to now and again. I buy one pointless game or movie related bit of fandom each year. This year was a mass effect N7 hoodie

.

Anyone else make pointless fanboi purchases?

Wow a game-themed hoodie is pretty openly geeky, nice one. I think my only possession on those lines is a Hadoken t-shirt. I also have Sonic 1 on my iPhone. Does the fact that I've gone back to Final Fantasy VIII in a genuine bid to finish it (having recently done VII and then intend to do IX and XIII eventually) count as a geeky indulgence?

Aye Jim, it is a bit openly geeky, but the best thing is most people won't even know what it is lol and to be fair it is one of the finest quality hoodies I have ever owned, geeky AND well made... gaddamn!

Hadoken shirt is definatly up there on geek-factor

as are the mario bits Becky :p and *tiphat* on that lovely little read on the desk

I can't say I've got anything at this moment, although I'm more than likely going to buy a load of these at some point

Mind you I'm probably more anime otaku than geek these days lol

Ok:

Voice activated R2D2, he is awesome and 2ft high!
R2D2 phone, bought a 1ft and half tall.
R2D2 alarm clock.
R2D2 pepper mill.
Darth Vader head phone!
Garfield phone.
Garfield double douvet cover.
Selection of Mr Potato Heads: Yam Solo (Disney World park exclusive), Spudtrooper, Darth Tater & Artoo-Potatoo.
Millenium Falcon transformer.
Master Replica Anakin Skywaler lightsaber.
Stormtrooper figure who has been decked out to look like a 70's porn star, mustache and R2 medalion.

And that is just in my living room! There are loads more bits in my bedroom, some of my transformers are up there, as well as my family guy stuff! Peter vs the Giant Chicken being my favourite.

Ok and there is the tattoos. But that has been covered!

oh dear..... but have no shame I say! if you dont have or dont want to buy at least one thing geeky then you have to be just a tad drab.

I recently went back into a craze of playing the psp, Monster Hunter Freedom to be extact, then onto Dragon Quest on the DS, love it!

After seeing those mario bits becky I think i'm going to have to do myself some novelty shopping! :)

I have a Steamboat Willie...

Like that one, but not the limited edition version :(
Sits nicely on my bookshelf as a book end though!

EDIT: Can see all kinds of bad edited quotes coming from this post!
