The Theory Behind Typeface Choice

    Well, this isn't what you were expecting.

    I've not got a link/book about this, but I'm looking for one.

    What I'm looking for is something that looks at the implications of serif/sans-serif typefaces and goes a little beyond the obvious (e.g. sans-serif faces look more modern than serif faces). Basically, the theory of type. Both small articles and something more indepth are welcome.

    Preferably something on the internet as the funds are tight, but any books will be considered as soon as the funds loosen up.

    I'm not sure if there's anything out there on this, but if there is then please chuck it my way :D

    Cheers Harry, bookmarked. That site isn't the best place to sell a book about typography though :lol:

    I know, but they books themselves are beautiful, really nice, top quality and fairly cheap.
