Temp job - Graphic & Digital Design Specialist

    ID Medical, the UK's leading medical recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced graphic and digital designer for a temp-to-perm role in their vibrant and high-energy marketing team. You will be part of a team of 12 who between them covers the full marketing mix, being self-sufficient - creating everything in-house. The role will be based at our head office in Milton Keynes, working 8.30-5.30 Mon-Fri.

    This role would suit a graduate with 1-3 years' working experience and is initially to cover the transition between a team member leaving and their replacement, however if your skills and personality proves a great match then we would look to take the right person on full time.

    The main purpose of the role is:

    • To provide marketing design and production to the team under the direction of head of marketing
    • Playing a part in design by developing materials essential for the growth of the ID Medical Group.
    • Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve products and services provided by the department to its customers
    • To develop and deliver traditional and digital projects to a high standard, portraying the brand in the best possible light at all times across all channels. Including but not limited to: Brochures, flyers, posters, exhibition graphics, presentations, emails, web banners, software (e.g. website).
    • Be responsible for editing and preparing print ready artworkAbility to produce and disseminate a wide range of marketing communications.
    • Creation of materials from concept to full print production.
    • Be an active member of design projects assisting operations on their business requirements applying design creative to suit.
    • Excellent CS skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver) with HTML/CSS skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail - Ensuring all amends are done correctly first time, every time. Finding and fixing any technical artwork issues that may occur during the artwork process.
    • Excellent PowerPoint skills.
    • To understand and work within brand guidelines. Continuing brand and consistency across the work produced.
    • Being active in the collation of information, copywriting, proofreading and production of promotional materials.
    • Supporting events management in ordering marketing /merchandise materials.
    • Maintain effective and courteous communications with all stakeholders and customers.
    • Be a proactive member of the marketing team and assist others at all times with the flexibility to engage with and/or cover colleagues’ roles

    Skill set required:

    • Organisational and planning skills
    • Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Dreamweaver)
    • confident working ability in HTML and CSS to create responsive emails, landing pages and to turn design into working HTML is desirable
    • Excellent PowerPoint skills.
    • Ability to work within a team but displays confidence to work independently
    • Ability to deliver results, meet deadlines and manage time effectively
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Outstanding accuracy, proof reading and copy writing
    • Ability to work with people at all levels
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle several brands and campaigns at once
    • Have a good understanding of print media, digital media, branding and interactive design.
