Wonderland magazine (disclosure: I work there) are running a design competition with Playstation and Illustrated people, with prizes of a Canon NEX-7 DSLR (RRP £1000+), a PS Vita handheld, and a trip to a fashion studio where you get to print your own winning design on a t-shirt. The winning design also gets featured in the November/December issue of the mag, so its good exposure for any freelancers out there. Not many entries yet – worth a go for the camera alone. Calling all designers! Wonderland’s offering you the chance to bring your design to life with cult streetwear brand Illustrated People, plus we’re throwing in a top-range DSLR camera and PlayStation Vita handheld.
East London-based label Illustrated People’s carved out a fine niche in quality, hand-printed urban luxe streetwear in collaboration with the world’s most-hyped illustrators – and now you can be one of them.
We’re teaming up with Illustrated People and Sony PlayStation to let one creative designer into the Illustrated People studio to make their own one-off tee, inspired by the new PlayStation Vita release Little Big Planet Vita.
If you haven’t heard of it, Little Big Planet Vita follows Sackboy™ and Sackgirl™ as they roam around the funfair planet Carnivalia, where gamers can create their own fully customizable world. And you can share your adventures online via Vita’s 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity – naturally.
If you fancy entering Wonderland x Sony PlayStation competition to win a day in the Illustrated People Studio, plus a Sony NEX-7 digital SLR with lens kit and a PlayStation Vita, send us a T-shirt design with the theme: “Big adventures in an unlimited universe.” Your design has to feature Little Big Planet’s Sackboy (below is a picture) – feel free to go crazy, although you can’t alter his proportions (c’mon, don’t be cruel). Get illustrating, painting or whatever it is you do, and submit your design as a black and white or one-colour lo-res .jpg file (under 2mb) to [email protected].
