evening all!

I'm considering the future use of a stock photography facility.

Does anyone have any recommendations for this?

And do the subscription based sites offer good value?

Any advice/input/tips/criticism would be great

Ta very muchly :)

Hi Laura!

Stock photography is really useful - I use istockphoto all the time - but I always get pay-as-you-go credits.

Advice:
- Never use an image as supplied because you'll never know when this same image appears elsewhere!
I tend to get their images and work with them to create a complete different version.
Once I bought an illustration for a school brochure, a week later, the same artwork was used for the strip-club flyers down the road ;)

~Peace~

salvador....i actually cannot imagine your face when you saw it!

thanks for the advice, I've just completed a project at uni about making any photo fit into any project, good fun and useful so hopefully that will help.

thanks very much :)

I agree, I was an all out iStockphoto user but their pricing structure now takes the piss.

I've now moved over to Fotolia.
