Software to check a PDF for print

Is there any software out there that i can use once I've exported final artwork to a print ready file to check all image quality? something that will tell me if any images may print pixelated

I do a number of large format stuff and often is pixelated slightly but due to being viewed from a distance as the subject is large the image is fine, also on smaller print, brochures etc be nice to have something to tell you that at X size printed on X this image quality will be poor/acceptable/good etc?

Acrobat Professional has preflight.

InDesign has a Preflight Panel https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/preflighting-files-handoff.html
You can check the file before making the PDF.

I also wrote an article on InDesign and Resolution of Images https://indesignsecrets.com/high-res-image-look-low-res.php

Illustrator doesn't have a Preflight option, but you can save to PDF and then run the Preflight through Acrobat Pro.

Acrobat Pro Preflight is good and the built in ones are not bad. You can also build your own for specific needs.
