Setting up images for print

Would like some advice as I haven't done much print work so far in my short career.

I am creating a large banner (1m wide x 2.3 m) in Illustrator (artwork will be provided in PDF format) which will be filled with client logos. There is a rushed deadline as usual so I'm having to find these logos online and they're all different sizes, quality, files types, colour setups etc.

What are recommendations to best go about setting up these client logos? Or can I simply place them all in the Illustrator doc and convert them all to CYMK when I save as PDF?

Convert all to Cmyk when making the PDF. just make sure your document is in cmyk
