I think I've just found January's avatar theme, thanks to today's Google logo and the 40th Anniversary of Sesame Street

Was the Count on Sesame Street?

Always made me laugh because he looked a little cross-eyed & slow, and he was teaching kids to count.

I think the problem with sesame street is that it has been running for 40 years! They could be playing any old episode from lord knows when and because of the lack of cgi, it dates well, its still a little ridiculous and watching random bits on youtube can leave you with a "what the hell were they thinking?" feeling, but I still love it. Anytime I see the Grover serving that man bits, I still laugh!

Have you ever seen the Family Guy parody with Burt and Ernie. I love it!
Plus Ernie is an impression that everyone can do.

Damn, when I was a kid all I saw on TV of Seseme Street was old 80's repeats... I didn't even know they'd kept doing new ones. I've just seen some clips on YouTube showing Jessica Alba, Jack Black and David Beckham among some of the stars they have on!

This post was brought to you by the number 6, and the letter B.
    Ah. Ah. Ah.

I was around for 7 of the 80's, but I was probably watching Danger Mouse or something. Maybe He-Man or Ghostbusters. Or Bugs Bunny. Hey this gives me an idea for another thread...
