An idea brought forward for a job I am working on is to use lego style men to illustrate different sectors targetted by the company ie lego builder, lego teacher etc. Does anyone have any advice on rights to use lego style stuff. My instinct is that this is completely untouchable and everything would be protected, but I need some evidence/proof to show client. Where can I find out details?

If you re draw the characters....making a few changes it should....gulp...should be ok.
    Are you ok to redraw?

yes i can redraw fine, i"m just hoping to avoid the whole thing altogether as i don't think its a good solution anyway. I have found a fair usage thing on lego website which strictly says no associations so that will be my back up
