    Hi all,

I'm considering buying a collection of fonts like Adobe's Font Folio 11.1.

Does anyone have any recommendations for alternatives / experiences good or bad / general advice about buying font collections like this?

In all honesty $200 dollars(ish) is not bad for the amount you get with the package. Considering ourselves as we have spent in excess of this in the last two months using places like hypefortype etc. It would be nice to see a complete list of whats in it. Good thread here with some examples of whats in the collection Adobe Font Folio Catalogue | Typophile

Thanks Jooty. Font Folio 11.1 is $2999 but in the UK it's more expensive at £3149 or so. Here's the list:

I decided to buy a Linotype Classics package and other fonts individually - I've spent just over half of the Font Folio price, not got so many fonts, but they are all good work-horse ones I love and will use - and it's been great picking individual typefaces, must stop now though, my bank account hurts.
