Publishing a Colouring Book

I am a designer and I have an idea for a colouring book. I am not sure of the best route to get this published. I have sent the first 10 pages to a number of agents selected because they represent both artists and illustrators. However, with a 6-8 week reply time, I am slightly worried they will all come back and say no. Is this the right way to proceed or should I be approaching appropriate book publishers directly? Or does anyone know of a specific agent I should approach? Thanks

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Have you thought about self-publishing? Can't say I have come across any self published colouring books but they must be out there.

I think you would have to contact a publisher who specialises in this kind of book, then they would normally put you in touch with one of their illustrators.
An illustration agency will only put you in contact with illustrators, and neither will necessarily be able to help you publish it.
As mentioned, self-publishing may be the way to go - there are companies out there that will help you print and publish your book.
