Tim makes his home in Central Kentucky where he enjoys raising cattle and horses. His career includes training and riding cutting horses, colt starting and ranch horse work, but his true passion lies in helping people and their horses to learn to communicate together. For the past ten years he has been offering small grass root clinics in colt starting, horsemanship and cattle workings. Tim’s goal is to pass on a philosophy that includes an age old tradition that lays the foundation for good horsemanship. His teaching includes working from the horse’s point of view. He feels that this philosophy is not being carried on in today’s world of where there is more emphasis being placed into the commercialized aspect of riding and not enough thought being put into what is best for the horse.

The ideas section has a wealth of knowledge :)

"Life dumps dirt on us at times." The human is very good at it. We each have to decide whether to stand and be burried and give up, or be a little like the old mule and "Shake it off and Step Up." In other words COWBOY UP!
a horse always does what he thinks he should do
