I'd like to know if there is some software that could do the following task:
I have a 4 ft x 8 ft. sheet of some plastic material.
I have to cut out from this sheet, a small irregular patern and I have to get as many as possible cutouts from this sheet.
The software which I hope exists, would have to take the small patern and figure out how to place several reproductions of it on the sheet in order to get the maximum number of small patern cutouts and the minimum wasted material.
Is there such a software ?
