Opinion on my logo and graphics

Tranformers...logos in disguise!
Actually I like it, but remove the shadow for print purposes. But I have no idea what it's meant to be.
The logo is meant to be an 'M' logo but abstract

Agreed, lose the shadow, it's trendy and the angles are wrong in the top half anyway, they're 90º whilst the other is angles at about 45º. This style uses an infinite distant light effect, which means the angles will always be the same and follow the exact same direction.
I actually see two Ms due to the negative space below the white one. I don't really know what the top and bottom bits are for, they seem to just distract form the M-ness.
