So, whats the difference between Mac True Type or
Windows True Type, when they can both be used on
Macs? Is it just that they are zipped or stuffed?

Also,
What actually is Sans-Serif,
im aware that Sans is different from Serif,
and that they define fonts in a way but i dont know what way?
 
sans = without.

i dunno... i do what you do and just get the windows one, dunno if it makes a difference :p
 
Wait till Berry catches up with that serif/sans serif question.

Everyone has to start somewhere, and if you happen to be a member of a forum
full of designers, then all the more reason to learn fast enough to end up better than
the rest of the forumites:p
 
HELP!

I went font-shopping, and one of them has taken over my computer's default font.
im running a leapord based Mac - any ideas on how to restore my usual default to something readable like calibri?
 
disable the font that is doing that. either that or delete it.

and then re-install it.
 
I cant work out what font it is though. ive spent nearly an hour comparing fonts as well. It doesnt seem to be in my font book :S (though it must be)
 
it will be, just take some time to go through and do it.

only happened once to me, but it's fixed easy enough.

what helps is not having a million fonts you dont need instaled on font book- it just clutters it up.

delete the ones you dont use.
