Hi everyone! I am new here!!
I am trying to setup my graphic design company so, I have a lot of things to do and change in my website.

Would you guys have a look at my logo and the name I choose for the company and give me your comments.....(nod)

Name: Pom Studio ( Pomegranate Studio )
Website: www.pomstudio.com

Much appreciated.

My only concern was when I saw your user name and your web link.

At first glance I thought it read PORN Studio.

I saw porn studio too......

And the perspective is out on your website 'monitor'

it's ok, though the P looks like one of them spinning clacker toys you get for football matches

I'd be more concerned with the way the name looks personally

What would you think i need to change on logo to look better? i mean i love the fruit in between of P & M so i want to keep something simillar but the fonts not too sure too.... ummmm!!!!

I'm still confused over Pom, Pomegranate, Pom studios etc.
Your brand needs to be agreed, Pom or Pomegranate.
K.I.S.S. - keep it simple. too many things going on in the brand name and the brand identity.

well why not just work around a pomegranate or the word rather than trying to work with POM and then pomegranate studio....

I saw porn studio too.....
Not fussed with the logo...agree with what has been said....also the 'o' looks like a christmas bouble.
I would just use the words 'pomegranate studio'. POM doesn't work for me.....the Austrailans out there might like it.

Looked around the site a bit. The Blog link does not work, neither does the portfolio. Your special offer page is dated July 2009, and on the contact page there is a javascript error.

Hi Pom (and welcome to DF :))

I've moved your thread to the feedback section instead as the logo section is more for discussing identity and branding in general. Hope that's ok.

Like most people I also saw it as porn initially, so perhaps you should consider going down a different route. As Levi also mentioned, why not focus on the name Pomegranate instead? I think it's a really good and strong name, and 'POM' wouldn't make sense to a lot of people before they looked at the tagline. So you could just have Pomegranate, and then something else to indicate what you do in the tagline? That could potentially also simplify the logo a bit as there's a bit too much going on at the moment imo.
