I'm more a digital person myself but @Jimlad and @Wardy have more analogue skills so you should fit in well here.

Hi Tequila, it looks great!

All I would say is be careful when you enlarge eyes etc, it's getting very close to the ear, and the hair
could do with refining a bit. Maybe try a different medium like pencil or watercolour or even digital painting to
get a bit more control and detail rather than oils.

It's an other old cartoon girl portrait but the style was the same.

For your first work, this is a really nice design. I think you should try it with vector illustration with a different color to make it more better.
