Margins

Hi,

I'm working on a 12 page A4 magazine which will be printed in colour digitally.

I wondered what would margin sizes would make a good layout?
(I have the ability to print to the edges as it's going to have bleed)

What would you leave as margins top bottom left and right on the front and back pages and what in the inner pages? I'm having most pages as a 3 column layout so are their special figure to work towards when working with A4 documents?

When working on an A4 document with facing pages, I usually make the inside margin a bit smaller than the outside margin. I also make the bottom margin the largest.

Dont use the same margin size for all sides of your A4.

I usually leave a bit more margin on the inside than the outside to avoid the page from running in to the fold.
