Making outdoor photos into posters

Hey everybody!

My name is Kevin. I am very new to graphic design but I'm working for a small non-profit and they've asked me to work on a poster. I'm supposed to use images from the outdoor trips with teenagers that we use, but what I've found is that it's hard to make anything that looks stylish without destroying the focus of the picture. Next summer I'm going to try to get out with a camera to get shots that would work better, but for now I'm stuck.

This is a dropbox link to what I'm working with. You can see my first flyer, and then the other two images I can use. I'd love it if someone could help me with a creative idea for a clear, simple design that doesn't block faces or look odd.

Any help would be amazing!

Yeh - PS elements is not ideal for making posters... I suggest you use Illustrator, or InDesign.

If they're too expensive, look into Scribus and Inkscape.

I can't see your dropbox files here
