Looking for a large format printer

Hi all im in the process off looking for a large format printer A0 or a B0 size.
This is all new to me but what i want to use it for is printing patterns that my sister makes on 60 gsm paper, cad drawings from a local factory and next year printing large scale aerial photos.
Now is there a printer that can do all or is better to get a dedicated one for each, i don't want one quality to affect the other.
looking to spend 5 to 6k.

Hi and welcome

I can recommend the Epson Surecolor SC-T5200:

We have one in our studio and use it for plan prints for customers and display prints for cinemas on various media including backlit film, with the ink being available in three sizes so making it very cost effective to replace:

You may be able pick one up for under two grand if you shop around. (and you don't need a rip). It will even print on thin board substrate. Inks are UV colourfast and water based so no need for excessive tube cleaning as with some solvent models when you don't use them often enough and they become clogged. Printhead lasts the lifetime of the machine.

Thanks for that it looks like what I'm looking for.
Primarily it will be used to print clothing patterns, on 60gsm paper. Next year im looking into doing aerial photography so want to print some large photos.
Im thinking is it worth to get two different dedicated printers, but i guess if you print cinema displays it must be good.
What sort of quality does the plans come out as.

Excellent quality all round as far as we are concerned (and we are very picky). Crisp and clear linework. We printed all AMC cinemas concessions displays with ours (x15 A0 for the manchester site). I was surprised when we purchase it, how good it was for the price. It even has a vacuum based feed system, so no marking that can be left on wet media as it comes through (as on the old HP designjets - we had two with daisywheel feeds that marked up on backlit). You can also program the ink settings so it drops more on backlit media as well as loads more you can do. I would spend a few quid more and get the 44 inch version. Have a look around, but for us it has been great.

Can you use any paper roll on it or epson only.
If i go for the 44 can i still use smaller paper roll in it.
Daft questions i know but big printing is all new to me.
Ive just given up my Job and starting off doing the printing for my sisters pattern company.
Just found the 44 inch for £2200
