Heading to London tomorrow for the NFL. Anyone got any good reccs for the weekend? Food? Clubs/Bars?

Had planned on heading to Covent Garden Sat night to Wahaca for Mexican delicious treats, then to Roadhouse as I've had a couple of crackin' nights there.

    Any suggestions?

There is an excellent place near London bridge called Dim Tee, very good.
If you are in Covent Garden it is worth looking for Neal's yard, great vegetarian food places, don't worry they add meat to it if you ask nicely, the point is they do good quality fresh food! And it isn't too expensive.
If you are near Carnaby Street, there is a nice place called Shakespeares Head. Its a good old man pub!

Clubs I'm not so good with.

    Old mans pub?...did somebody call!

Let me at it. Pint of Ye Olde Farmers Fart for me with porky scratchings.

I was drinking Kansas Amber Ale today. Top that.

There's a beer festival on local soon...I'll dig out my chunky knit jumper and pipe.

Sorry meant to reply to this earlier.

It was the 49ers vs the Broncos - crap 1st half great 2nd half.

That stadium is really impressive. The arch is incredible looking.

Ended up in Covent Garden, ate in Wahaca, easily the best Mexican food I've ever had - get down there if you can! Try the 'tequila experience'!
