To Good To Trade Logo Design

We are an automotive company who trade in new and used cars. We are currently looking for a logo design for a new franchise dealing specifically in used cars, called To Good to Trade or “2 Good 2 Trade.”

2 good 2 Trade used cars, is a used car that we have bought that is slightly older than we would normally sell to the retail public but which we think is just to nice to dispose of through the trade.

We need a logo designed for this that represents the concept in a basic and simple way whilst illustrating the phrase “2 good 2 trade”. The design will be used in many applications such as signage, banners and stationary and so ideally must be a line drawing/image with little if any tone or gradient. The logo can also only have two to three colours. (Royal blue specifically must not be used as this will clash with our other branding).

The budget set for this is $20-$25.
    Many Thanks

Please PM any entries. Feedback will be given on all designs submitted.

So basically you will give feedback on all designs submitted but only the winning design will be lucky enough to get paid $20-$25 for their hard work.

This is the funniest thread I have read today :icon_lol:

£12 to design a logo? Your offer is an absolute joke - I hope no-one on this forum is stupid enough to agree to doing this.

I wonder how many forums he has posted this on?

I started one for you but this best sums up my approach to this brief.

If it's going to get competitive, I'd like to let it be known that I'm prepared to drop my price to half a bag of Planters in order to secure this once-in-a-lifetime deal.

Yeah but until Boss Hogg chipped in with a counter bid I was hoping I'd be able to secure something at the top end of the budget range.

As W.A.L obviously doesn't have any concept of the value of things, i'd be prepared to design a logo in exchange for one of your used cars....what's that? You don't want to get ripped off...

I just spotted this pic of W.A.L's used car forecourt

Nice 'moving wheel' device. $20-25 says he goes with a version of that one.
