Logo critique

Hey guys,

I dunno if you read my previous post, but if you didn't, I was basically struggling to come up with any logical ideas for an adult site named something i'm not gonna mention (in case it comes up in google when the guy searches it later down the line).

What do you guys think of these? anything that strikes you particularly that you'd like to scrap, change and punch me in the face for?

The first and second are poop, I know. I was quite, sorta, not really, happy with the third, but I just wanted to get other opinions that aren't related to the job.

lol - done... had to convert to .jpg as i forgot you can't attach psd files to a thread.

I'm not seeing what your trying to establish Tim.

what is it your showing us... whats it for... a logo..?

Is it a site... or a button...?

Whats with the massive pink box. (nothing wrong with a nice big pink box - but not here)

Have you researched similar... what the competiton look like?

the competition - the guy who wants the logo hasn't given me any information other than a "will do design a lovely little logo for me, when i get a website i may just need one". I have no idea what the business is, and after 4 emails, it was obvious from his replies he was never gonna tell me!

Thanks about the pink thingy... dunno why I did that.

I was absolutely stumped by the request so just shoved some stuff together after about seven hours of brainstorming.

you know your porn Tim.

with a title like in the examples, it's obviously some kind of adult fee website...

It probably doesnt need the 'sexy lady' in it...

dont waste to much time on it... if it's only a 'maybe he'll use it' - just some clever font shit, that will work in a website header, or a small banner/button.

the woman/font combination makes me wanna -quote- smash you in the face ;)

So this dude hasn't briefed you? Does he expect you to magic up an award winning identity from thin air? And he's not replying to your emails?

Tim, have you agreed a fee with this guy? Have you invoiced 50% up front?

Like the others have said, what's the deal with this Tim? Is this a paid job?
You can't just dream up a logo for his 'business' without any information! You may find it useful to compile a standard list of questions to e-mail to clients to act as a design brief of sorts. If they can't even tell you what the business is or what the logo needs to portray then I would move on sharpish (returning a deposit if it's been paid?)

Yeah, will do. Worth the email first. Thanks guys.
Sorry for another appaulling post.

As mentioned in my reply get a list of questions together in a Word document that you can e-mail clients, asking about their business, a one line summary of their business, their goals/objectives, what image they would like to portray, who their target market is, any specific requirements, etc. then if the client can't provide answers to those simple questions about their business I would be inclined to steer clear! No need for an apology Tim!

Thanks Jim.

In answer to your suggestion Greg +whoever else, I got an email this morning with a huge business brief! Here comes the start again.
