Hi guys

We're a new company and have just put our first portfolio live!

im very keen to know what you think of it and if theres any way we can improve it.

our core service is 'mobile app development backed by research and marketing' so that must come through loud and clear

anyway let me know your thoughts.

www.fluidfour.com

thanks

Its a nice site but i cant read your titles eg "Fluid Four is a specialist integrated mobile app development agency." and "Created From Real Experience"

The only way i knew wot these said was by copy and pasting into this post. other than that is nice and smooth

oh also THE TEAM the info on each user drags the layout out of shape and makes the background white near bottom and the
"We're not hiring right now but stay tuned for job adverts. No agencies please" overlaps the black tab image and looks wrong

Its ok, I'd expect your apps to actually have more prominence. Likewise, to be able to actually move through the slider myself - it doesn't really seem finished tbh.

Nice clean site, but I totally missed your showcase. It's so dull compared to the rest of the page. Your opening sliding banners have some nice bright colourful shots of your apps/sites, yet your actual showcase section, the section you want people to look at most, the section that shows of your work, looks dull and lifeless. That needs some work.

Also, typos. Not cool. No idea if there are any more, I havn't read through it, but theres 1 big noticeable one at the bottom... "SPEAK! WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOOSE?

I really really really like it. I agree with the comments above though.
''''Its a nice site but i cant read your titles eg "Fluid Four is a specialist integrated mobile app development agency." and "Created From Real Experience"''''' Totally agree, on your monitor it may look different but on mine its very hard to read...

The team- justify the text beneath each photo.

Showcase is a little dull although it is very clean. Just needs a rethink or something to make it stand out more. With the sliding movement in your site, maybe you could use that again with your showcase to give it punch...click on the 'thumbnail' then the larger full image could slide everything (the other 'thumbnails') down out of the way and open on that page...with all the other thumbnails still below. (Can see it in my head but really cant explain!!) Then maybe use a manual slider to show more pics of that particular job? Or the Pics themselves could take on a thin landscape shape....or something less conventional than just opening one pic in a little box?

I find the home slider hurts my eyes as when it does slide, it does so very quickly...that might just be me though! Also it could be a nice touch to use the gradients in your home slider thing so that they flow into the next slide...iykwim...as now when the slide you see the darker grey edge each time...which kind of ruins the clean, sharpness of the slider you have?

I know nothing about web development or design. So Im just saying what I see and some of the things I have suggested could be totally impossible or maybe just don't make sense, or are sh*t....so I apologize if that's the case!

Thanks we do have a slide switcher it just breaks the design... we plan to fix it soon.

thanks! great idea for the portfolio, i certainly want future versions to have more animation. we're planning to re-work the banners so the entire panel doesnt slide... at the moment its the full width background which i agree is a bit much to slide across the screen.
