Junior Graphic Designer / Artworker permanent position available - BRISTOL

New Member
We have a full time position for a Junior Graphic Designer / Artworker at our small office in Clifton, Bristol working for a large electrical distributor on a range of both printed and web marketing material. Preferably someone with 1 -3 years commercial experience.


This is not a career for someone who wants to work in online social media, this position is based around being an artworker and focused on print.


• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience of design for print on a range of printed literature such as flyers catalogues, pos, posters, brochures, exhibition sales aides material, and packaging
• Experience in Web Design and email campaigns (HTML/ CSS knowledge preferred)
• Ability to communicate with external agencies and suppliers ie: printers, photographers and other suppliers
• Support the Marketing Manager with various ad hoc online & offline duties and suggest new ideas
• Good knowledge of digital technology such as the ipad / iphone and other smart phone applications if required
• Photography/ video experience preferred but not essential
• Marketing knowledge preferred but not essential
• Reporting to Marketing Manager
• Both Mac and PC literate. (You will be required to operate a Mac)

• All candidates need to be well organised self starters who have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and who can work to tight deadlines.
• Be happy working within a very small team and have the confidence to use initiative to get the job done.
• Well presented and articulate.
• Ability to work well to briefs and brand guidelines.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently to the highest standard with minimal supervision.



Package
Salary- £18,000

Hi, thanks for your question.

We've used freelance designers in the past, and although it worked out fine, we really want to build up our team in the office! So sorry, but we're only looking for in-house at the moment!
