Is this logo too boring?

I'm unsure if a simple typeface like this is too boring to use on its own
any advice?
Thanks

It's not necessarily boring, it's more a case of the wrong typeface I think. The kerning is out anyway, but the fact that the
W and A do not have matching angles, stands out like a sore thumb to my eyes. The E may fill in when very small
and the register mark needs to drop down too.

I'll make sure to correct those when I make the finished logo...
Thanks!

However to answer your question: no it’s not too boring.

It identifies the business and that’s all a logo really needs to do.

FYI, this is my logo:

6817

(Those lines are not part of the mark, they're from the background on my site).

Simplicity and context is key. Sort out those angles and you're done. And only use the ® symbol if the logo is actually registered as a trademark. otherwise use TM to indicate that you're using it as a distinguishing trade mark.
