Do you think new trends in design are getting boring/stale?
I don't see much difference from 2005-2008 era of design trends : elaborate vector icons, retro pastiche, stripes, "hand drawn" looks, clean future-modernist asthetics, etc...
I don't feel like it's moving from this.
I would say this era will be known for way too much fetishization of exclusive print, packaging and gimmick products, self-promotion, blogs, and generally mroe innovative apps and web design.
