We're a small independent record label looking to find a graphic designer to produce the artwork for a CD album by Dai & The Ramblers, a band specialising in 50s R&B, zydeco and folk. The format of the release will be a digipack CD, i.e.
- front cover
- back cover
- spine
- inside cover
- inside under CD
- CD itself
- 2-sided inlay 'booklet'
We can provide a band photo (for the booklet, not the cover), all album copy, a bar code plus a logo for the record label and distributor. Manufacturing is already organised.
We're looking for something that references 1950s design, though not in a slavish way. It should be something eye-catching that looks a bit hand-made. It could be a design involving an original illustration or perhaps a more geometric approach. I'd be happy to send through some visual ideas as well as examples of the music.
The budget is limited but negotiable depending on the work involved. Unfortunately, we've already established that most larger graphic design companied are out of our budget. If you're interested in the project please PM me or email with:
