I'm building a tool that helps graphic designers A/B test their designs with other designers.

Hello!

My name is Mike and I'm working on a small tool/website called visual.vote designed to help graphic designers quickly test two versions of a design with fellow designers. When I design things, I tend to create lots of versions and then narrow down to just two. Once I'm down to two, I generally take screenshots and send them to my friends asking if they like "A" or "B" better. Upload, copy, paste, upload, copy, paste, and so on. I thought it would be useful to create a tool that facilitates the feedback collection process a bit better... hence "visual.vote."

This is an early version, but I would very much appreciate any feedback / insights you have.

Is this something you find useful?
Do you think there are areas in your workflow where this would help?
How do you narrow down your designs when you have many iterations?

Thanks

1. Not really, I have nda's to consider as well.
2. No in all honesty
3. Experience and speaking to my client, honestly it is that simple for me, even more so when it's just A versus B.

Hi Brownexpo,
This is better practice that you prepare more than one designs and share with your friends to know the feedback. It is appropriate in beginning, with time you will be able to design and decide the one perfect design to be forwarded. For now, to get quick responses you can use social media groups.
