Illustrator Help!

I have made a logo for someone.

I have useed several layers in Illustrator, i have used a semi transparent circle over half of my text to give it a glass/glossy feel.

i am now trying to save it onto a transparent background in Photoshop and it is showing the white circle.

How do i merge or get rid of this circle?

If you copy and paste it as a smart object then it should import your transparency settings.

Sorry Sam, I may have misunderstood the question there actually. If you want to import it into Photoshop the way it appears in Illustrator then you may need to go Window>Path Finder>Your Choice of Path, to remove the unnecessary bits.
