I really like this...

Initially when you go to the site, its pretty cool. I really like the Adobe Flash interface, and the way the little info windows move on mouse over makes me think of this:

So yep, this is already being used in some restaurants and casinos apparently.:D

My only small concern is the wave file that keeps on playing. Alot of sites put music to their sites and that's okay but most will give the viewer a way to turn the volume down or even put and option to turn the music off. At least if that site has a way to turn the music off I couldn't find it. But that's really my only concern. I actually kind of like that particular music anyway, I wonder who made it.

Yknow i have to disagree on whether i think this is a good choice of design for its purpose.. I think anyone who has any knowledge of the work itd take to make this will appreciate it a lot, but from a general point of view i think its difficult to 'know where you are' with it. Just think it deviates a bit too much from a 'standard' site.. maybe if they had that menu drop down automatically or something.

I've observed people browsing the net and it seems as though people generally expect everything to be over intuitive - eg not reading before they click or bothering to get used to a diff interface.

I personally like it though :)

I think that while it's visually tight, the wording and visuals are too esoteric. For me, this means I have no way in to the information. I can't imagine that anyone who doesn't know about cars would get it. Or maybe I just didn't stick with it long enough...but that could be the site's fault.

It looks super slick tho!

they have it at vodafone stores in the uk.

great idae, shame it's £10k.

more importantly, it's a great tool for phone suppliers or retailers but any other usage is, well useless.
