Just loaded up my PC as I do, everyday after school... and guess what?

Everything starts to freeze, followed by (Not Responding) 15 minutes later. So i load up Task Manager and try to stop any shite "not responding" programs from clogging up anymore usage, and guess what? It freezes, followed by (Not Responding) !!!! AHHH! How is that even possible!?

But I guess that this is why I bought a mac- to follow ye olde Mac vs. PC thread!

Lol :D. Is there not some kind of forum setting that'll only allow people to make 5 posts a day? Otherwise I don't think Tim will ever be able to keep to his limit :)

Ahh, good for me. I underposted by 1 yesterday! Better than overposting by 14.

@tbwcf: i have no idea what you just said?! I take it you were saying I really do post too much?!

Yep! Had my SD card in, so tried to access (H:), and froze. Then after 10 mins gave up, wanted to end it entirely, and so Task Manager decided to freeze! I had no other programs running and usage was nowhere near :)

It probably spoke to your mac and the mac told it to kill itself before it's put through the forum posting it has to go through! :D

Your mac will keel over soon as well!

Usually in the past I would buy pc's preconfigured and preinstalled. But when it came done to have this beast done (2 years ago, or so) I actually went out and bought Windows Vista. I think that was what finally pushed me fully over to linux. Compared, I feel as if I have a lot more freedom now. (Although I was very happy with 98 2nd edition and XP, after SP2.) This new fancypants stuff just doesn't cut it, not on vista anyways, as it takes too much away from performance. I have plenty of blingbling on this machine, but it doesn't hog as much.

Eh, getting a bit off here. I think what I was trying to say is, it's individual. And there are fanboys everywhere, which is why I usually end up trying things for myself, and learning from the mistakes I make :p It did cost me a couple of reinstalls at the beginning of the linux learning curve.. Hope I'm safe now though =D

get more RAM for ya PC... I'm rolling with 6GB here and all is well :)

I've had just as many probs with Macs as I have PCs, 'cept my probs with Mac have usually been around not being able to cope with Flash websites, but that was down to the worst OS is the world (imo) OS9, and is something does go wrong, I've had to format the hdd and start all over again.

I also want to state that Rumble is Blue and Frenzy is Red...

What does that mean?

I'm currently in the process of building my new computer and after years of battling with Windows (as much as I have it customised it to the nth degree) I will hopefully be instally Mac OS X on the new machine.
Can't wait! :D
