How to replicate this design - Help please

Hi,
I need to replicate this design for a client but with a number 20.
Are there any tools in illustrator that could help? or any techniques?

I did not spend too much time doing the following work. Here, I just wanted to show that the work is possible in Illustrator. You will only be able to do this if you follow some instructions. 1. Write your letter 2. Expand with Object and Fill 3. Go to Object >Compound Path>Release (Alt+Shift+Ctrl+8) Now write or paste your Text 4. Decorate it. You could try to watch some tutorials in YouTube, such as
