An excellent article about how to email an illustrator and use better communication to ensure fewer revisions, better artwork and fewer headaches for all involved. Would also apply to most creative professionals, so I thought I'd share.

Use .pdf format, i have used it for years and found it pretty useful and easy to use.

Hi Geek-o. Did you even read the article? It's about the content of the first email a potential client might write to an illustrator, not the format of attached files.

To all Graphic Designers out there, please pin this on a board at work for all to see.

I particularly like 'Please write back. Please.' Don't know how many days I've wasted waiting to hear back about vital questions, or even just an acknowledgement
that they received my email.

If I was just to get a random pdf email as the first point of contact I wouldn't be opening the pdf, the amount of scripts or virus's that can be injected into attachments these days is stupid. I only open pdf's from 'trusted' people.
