How to deal with clients who waste your time

It's an interesting situation that OP describes. I think all graphic designers have been in a situation where a client is wasting one's time. The best solution is to take money
upfront for the work. For example 50%. This will prevent clients from not being co-operative or postponing things day after day, which will ultimately push the project to a distance far away from completion. Taking an upfront payment will put pressure on the client to co-operate because otherwise the payment is lost.
