How do you manage your fonts?

Another vote for Font Explorer X. I used to have to use Suitcase at my old job and it made me want to shoot myself.

Also, putting all your fonts in your font folder is just asking for performance issues. Just activate the ones you need at the time and you'll see a difference.
 
@thoughtandtheory; really? i keep getting told that suitcase was the best to use. What made you go mad then?

Yeah i'll agree with the point of keeping all the fonts out of the font folder (except system fonts obv) , i keep all my personal fonts in a separate folder on my desktop.

I'm tempted to look into a free version to get me started, although with not many fonts it's not a necessity, but keeping things tidy is always nice.

Font Explorer X seems only for Mac, and it doens't have a free version does it?
 
I just use FontBook on the Mac and I use a version of Suitcase on the PC I think.. I don't use many different fonts at work these days.
