Helvetica 45 Light (on screen display)

Hi,

Can anyone suggest why Helvetica 45 Light displays so poorly on my screen? It prints perfectly, but looks faded on screen. Comparison with Calibri to show the difference.

Thank you in advance!

Rowan

Hi Paul, thanks for your message. It occurs everywhere; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Also Photoshop Elements (I don't have the full version of Photoshop). Any ideas? Thanks! Rowan

Some versions of fonts have two parts of them. Screen version and print version.

What don't type is it? Off? Ttf?

If it's a Type 1 font it won't render on screen properly. You'll need the screen companion version.

I recommend getting the OTF versions of fonts.
