Help needed with spot colours & PNG images!

Good afternoon all,

This is my first post at this forum, so a big hello from everyone at Prolife in the UK.

I am in need of some help with printing a banner for a client of ours and I am on the verge of pulling my hair out. The banner is to be displayed outside a store, and I have done these several times before with no issues. My issue here is that I am using spot colours to ensure the best quality print I can achieve using our Roland VS-300, but where I am using PNG images of products on the banner it is sending the design into a frenzy!

I am receiving white boxes around items and text, transparency lost on some objects and more. Can anyone help me? Perhaps it's a simple fix, but I can't seem to work it out!

Thank you all in advance, and happy holidays!

Chris

Not clear if you're working with PDF or not?

However, PNG is not a great file format for printing, it stands for Portable Network Graphic, designed for web use.

Save your image as TIFF or PSD and ensure that transparency is enabled in the save dialog box.
