Hey guys, Im putting together a list of guerilla marketing tips for creatives to help you get some exposure without having to spend too much cash. It is hopefully going to be published in quite a popular design blog. Ive listed my ideas below (plus bits Ive been told/read in the past) so if anyone has any other suggestions please let me know!
1.Leave business cards / bookmarks in library books when you return them. Especially in books related to your business, who knows who may read them?
2. Add vinyl stickers to your car/bike/bicycle
3.Speak to similar companies about collaborating (e.g. I sell posters so Im in the process of doing a deal with an online framing company so my customers get discount and they get my customers) In return there could be a possiblity of future work with the framing company and a link on their site.
4. Get stickers printed and put them EVERYWHERE! Realy cheap, effective and easy to stick onto books/lamposts/taxi seats/windows/bags/ATMs etc
5. Write your website/blog address on bank notes. (Not illegal as long as it doesnt interfere with the important info on the note) Just think how far and wide that note will travel!
6. Be proactive, post flyers through the doors of small businesses/houses/shops/offices.
7.Send letters/flyers to prospective clients but use 1p stamps to cover the cost. Imagine receiving a letter COVERED in stamps, it would certainly stand out from the crowd.
