Graphic Designer / Web Editor required – Camden area, North London, 21-25k per annum

William Hunt Trilby Tour is looking for a confident graphic designer who is at ease designing for web and also for print, and with experience of running a CMS as well as basic handcoding with HTML and CSS.

Must have good knowledge of entire Adobe Creative Suite esp Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Dreamweaver and able to write good copy as you'll be writing up interviews and press releases as well as retouching images and creating advertising campaigns.

You will be working in a small company but with great opportunities for the right person to propel higher up the ladder quickly. Great prospects for someone who is well-motivated with a great 'can-do' attitude.

You will also be overseeing our e-commerce site - so if you have experience in this field all the better.

Requirements:
• Good all-rounder in web, graphic and print design with high standard of English.
• Confident user of Adobe Creative Suite CS3 upwards.
• Confident and experienced with the following programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Dreamweaver.
• Able to produce graphic material to a high standard for web and print.
• Can show a portfolio of creative vision.
• Able to write concise and clear copy to a high standard of English.
• Conduct interviews over the phone and write up interviews/articles for Press Releases and Website.
• Able to retouch images to a high standard and quickly under time constraints.
• Able to work on own initiative and prioritise work-load.
• Must have experience of web editing and using CMS.
• Role involves overseeing 2 websites using Content Management Systems (of which one is e-commerce) and 2 websites using normal coding via Dreamweaver.
• Must be proficient using Dreamweaver and able to edit HTML and CSS and handcode if necessary.
• Liasing with external agencies and parties to gather required information
• This role is ideal for someone who is able to take direction but is also self-motivated, proactive and a great team-player and communicator.
• Daily duties will involve:
• Updating Website with blog, images, articles etc
• Ensuring SEO and metadata is all correct and optimized.
• Retouching images for E-commerce.
• Creating artwork for websites and print
• Ensuring all artwork is correct before being sent to the printers.
• General adhoc duties, helping out as and when required.
• Good team player and communicator
• Initial term of placement is 3 months with a review after 1 month of commencing role. Could lead to permanent placement for the right candidate.
• Will consider all levels of experience as we are looking for the ‘right’ person who can just slot in, get on with it and has a great hard-working attitude.

• Salary: 21-25k per annum depending upon experience, with potential to go much further for the right candidate
