Ive got a new plan to sell tshirts to "gamers" so, just a little research and questioning.

Me and my partner have come up with these... for xbox, wii users.

Would anyone be interested in them on tees for the right price? if so, what price would you be happy to pay? We were thinking say £12?

    - Poned (an xbox "Call of Duty" phrase)
    - **WARNING** I'm still armed with my knunchuks (Wii users)
    - It's not just my hobby...it's my duty to Duty (Xbox Call Of Duty)
    - Get Two Pieced (Xbox gears of war term)
    - X,Y,A,B . . . what alphabet do you go by? (Xbox controller buttons)

    Hi Phil,

I think the slogans related to big cult games are more of a possibility, if you can tap into those gamers you might find a niche market, as for the more generic ones like the Wii and Xbox controller I think you would find it harder to sell them on. I would work on phrases/slogans that have come from the most popular/cult games over the last year and produce simple typographic designs around those as a starting point perhaps?

And £12 sounds about right for a slogan tee :)
    HTH, Greg

PS- Will move this to Off-Topic as not directly marketplace related ;)

    Thanks for the feedback greg.

I can see what you mean - will work on them.

    Any other views?

P.s. did wonder what forum to put it in - obviously made the wrong decision tho!

Ahh no worries, it can be a bit confusing, but I'm working on some ideas for a slight re-structure as we speak :)

Only other thing, I was in my local WHSmith's the other day and they've just started stocking this great little range of typographic styled cards, so just pure typography on the fronts, with a few vector touches here and there, and they looked excellent. If you get a chance to go to a large WHS over the weekend, try and find them, as I think the style would work really well with what you have planned here.

Any more feedback on these? weve come up with a few more ideas too...

    "roses are #FF0000 , violets are #0000FF"
"Gaming ruined my life, luckily I have two lives left"
"Nerds 2(2) life" (second "2" being a small "square" two)
"Get Some" (Aimed at Xbox users)
"Monster Kill" (The Unreal Tournement series)
"RRoD" (Red Ring of Death - compelte xbox failure)
"Get Two Pieced" (gears of war term - xbox)

    hey Phil,

just to let you know, HMV have all manner of t-shirts, different sizes, all that, for 2 for £20 I believe. Somewhere around that mark.

i'd buy them at £12 if they were perfect though, although because i'm proud of being a designer, I'd probably prefer tees that have puns about design :D

Ok - Ive come up with this idea after a certain thread on this - words are completely my own.

Looks a little odd as I tried to make the graphic "fit" to the tshirt.

    thoughts?

Greg, perhaps you could change the title of this thread to - "my tshirt ideas or "my tshirt plan" or similiar?

No worries Tim - I know how ya feel!

Any views on the tshirt image I posted that I came up with?

I now feel it needs to say:

"it is simply what you image in to be"
