Future career?

#1
I was just wondering if any of you could assist me with a question I have about a future career in graphic design?

Basically, I'm a terrible hand-drawer so will that limit my chances of succeeding as a graphic designer? If you work for or own a graphic design company, would you turn me away because of this? Despite this, I can use the pen tool effectively in packages like PS, ILL and FW...

Thanks!

Being able to draw free-hand is definitely an advantage but I do know graphic designers who can't draw more than a stick-man.

Design (note: not simply graphic design) is the art of providing elegant solutions to complex problems. However you do that is up to you.

These are some of the sketches of one of the words best architects (Zaha Hadid) and I use her as an example because I've seen some of these sketches in person at an exhibition

And yet these are the results

etc etc...

Point is - its the ideas that count, not your ability to draw them.
