I'm liking where your new logo is heading. I would suggest putting the "AT" in lowercase so that those letters don't appear larger optically than the 'e' and also to make them more bitesize.
the 'c' reminded me first of pacman and then of zippy from rainbow (man I'm showing my age here).
ah just noticed from the thread that 'c' is meant to be an 'e'. In my view unless you put the 'hole' in the e (maybe as an eye) it's always going to look like a c
