Font Manager / Font Storage?

Hey Guys/Gals,

Hopefully somebody on this beautiful forum can help me (hope you feel more inclined now).

I have been pretty lazy when it comes to fonts, they get downloaded and then quickly chucked into my windows font folder.

I was just really interested to know what you lot do with your fonts in regards to storage etc and what would you recommend? I know you can get software to store certain styles of font together but i really just do not know where to start with it all.

Anything you can throw my way is always greatly received

Many many thanks
Ben

Hi Ben, not really an answer to your question, but another question.

Can you put fonts in folders, like 'commercial' 'non-commercial' etc? Never thought of that before..

TIP OF THE DAY
Before downloading and installing any of the above programs, back-up your fonts folder, you have been warned :icon_biggrin:

Unfortunately Linotype don't offer the Windows version of Font Explorer for download any more. They did have a beta version available a while ago but the beta has finished now and they have taken the download down. I am still using the beta version it doesn't expire or anything, so it could be worth looking around to see if anywhere still has it for download.
