Favourite Artists?

Following on from another thread, just wondering if anybody has any favourite artists that maybe inspired them from a young age.

My 3 favourites are Salvador Dali, M.C Escher and H.R Giger, I remember receiving a book as a child depicting some of their artwork. I was amazed at the optical illusions that both Dali and Escher produced, the mathematical art as it is known of Escher and the darkness of Giger, I went on to do similar mathematical and perspective art pieces for my art exam.

I have linked to a few of my favourites below, some you may recognise:

Dali:
Swans Reflecting Elephants, 1937
The Burning Giraffe, 1937
Metamorphosis of Narcissus, 1937

Escher:

Dali and Giger for sure.

This 1:1 scale bust has pride of place in my office.
